The Taf Tummy Time Activity Gym has 10 items to provide your baby with an array of tummy time activities. This thoughtfully crafted playmat encourages exploration for pre crawling and sitting milestones. It also promotes strength, coordination, sensory development and the development of motor skills.
The soft, padded playmat and supportive pillow can be used for either side lying or tummy lying. When used as side lying, your baby’s back is gently cradled by the supportive pillow. When used for tummy lying, the pillow provides a comfortable position, with toys strategically placed on the hoop in front of and beside the baby.
The gym prioritizes tummy time play to strengthen your baby’s neck and back muscles. This essential exercise aids core development, prevents flat spots, enhances sensory exploration, and prepares baby for crawling.
The playmat can also be used without the pillow by lying your baby on their back to play with the toys on the arch. Playing with the hanging toys will stimulate your baby’s baby’s sensory perceptions, nurtures both fine and gross motor skills, and develop hand-eye coordination.
The removable floor arch allows you to arrange the hanging toys and musical mobile during side laying and tummy time exercises. The pull-activated musical toy has 20 minutes of melodic tunes and a gentle light. The spiky hedgehog and plush rabbit both have ribbon tabs for little hands to explore. They can be removed for individual play or the clip can be attached elewhere, e.g. to a pram for play on-the-go. These are all designed to enrich baby’s auditory and tactile senses.
The gym has a semi-circle hoop designed to hold the double-sided flash cards, a baby-safe silicone mirror, and a crinkling leaf with ribbon tabs.
