The MuslinZ Nappy Kit is an easy to use and cost-effective washable and reusable nappy system. The kit consists of 12 100% cotton muslin prefold nappies, 3 waterproof wraps in a choice of colours with popper fastening, and 3 100% cotton muslin boosters. These nappies are soft, breathable and gentle on your baby’s delicate skin.

Prefold Nappies and Boosters

Prefold nappies are rectangles of material sewn together to make 3 long rectangles that are folded to make a multi-layer pad nappy.

These 100% cotton muslin prefolds nappies have 4-6-4 layers of material in each section, so when folded into 3 have 14 layers of absorbency.  The nappies measure 30 x 43 cm / 12 x 17 inches (approx) unfolded.

3 muslin boosters are included, each measuring 35 x 12 cm / 12 x 5 inches (approx.). These boosters have six layers of premium muslin fabric, providing extra absorbency that’s ideal for long outings or extended wear.

Washing Instructions

Machine wash at 40-60 degrees.  Do not use fabric conditioner as this coats the fibres and reduces absorbency. Air drying is best, but can be tumble dried when necessary for ongoing maintenance. Full absorbency is achieved after ¾ washes.

For best results, wash the prefolds and boosters before use at 40°C to enhance absorbency and extend their lifespan. Expect approx. 5% shrinkage on the first wash.

Waterproof Wraps

These waterproof yet breathable wraps have gentle elastic at the back and leg cuffs for a snug fit. There are multiple poppers at the waist to give a customised fit as your baby grows. There is also a set of poppers at the front to make the length of the wrap shorter or longer. This adjustability means that each wrap will fit from approx. 6 months to approx. 30 months or potty training.

The wraps have a flap at the front and back to tuck the prefolded nappies into.  These wraps are also suitable for use with pad folded terry nappies or folded muslin squares.

This wrap has a double leg-gusset design that gives extra space for inners and extra security against leaks. With an elasticated back of the wrap and around the legs, the wrap is comfortable and well fitting.
